Executive arrested for trying to assault young female employee in a hotel

A New York capital management executive has been charged after allegedly trying to assault a 25-year-old female employee at a Florida hotel.

James J. Lukezic, 42, was arrested on Sunday following the alleged incident at The Colony hotel in Palm Beach.

Lukezic is the managing director of capital management firm Old Slip Capital Partners.

His female employee told police that she had been drinking with her boss at a nearby restaurant earlier in the night before they took an Uber back to the hotel where they staying.

When they arrived, the woman said she found out that Lukezic had booked them a shared room, according to a police report obtained by the Palm Beach Post. 

The woman told police that they went to the shared room and got under the covers of her bed, fully clothed, to go to sleep.

She claims Lukezic stripped down to his shirt and underwear.

He has been charged with simple battery

Lukezic, who is the managing director of capital management firm Old Slip Capital Partners, has been charged with simple battery 

Lukezic then allegedly jumped on top of her and tried to touch her breasts.

She told police that she managed to push him off and locked herself in the bathroom.

The woman said she was eventually able to run out of the room and called police from the hotel bar.

Police said they found Lukezic in the room wearing only a polo shirt and that he was allegedly swaying, had slurred speech and smelled of alcohol.

He allegedly refused to let police into the room.

Lukezic was charged with simple battery.

He was released from Palm Beach County Jail on his own recognizance and is scheduled to be arraigned on October 9.
