At least 12 people have been injured after an explosion and partial building collapse occurred at a Texas hospital.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene at the Coryell Memorial Healthcare System in Gatesville on Tuesday afternoon.
The explosion was reported to have happened at a construction site near the back of the hospital at about 2.15pm.
Police said they were dealing with a major emergency with fire crews and multiple ambulances from other hospitals brought in to assist.
Up to 12 people were evacuated and transported to nearby hospitals following the explosion, KVUE reports.

Witnesses said the large blast occurred in an area of the hospital that is currently being expanded, KWTX reports.
Emergency officials said there was a partial building collapse as a result of the explosion.
While initial reports suggested people may have been trapped, officials said no one was trapped in the rubble.
Footage taken by bystanders shows plumes of black smoke rising above the hospital as fire crews arrived on the scene.
Two medical facilities on the hospital grounds were evacuated.
Nearby hospitals were also on standby to help treat possible victims.
