Fake Prince George Instagram hilariously mocks his fellow royals

An Instagrammer, posing as Prince George, has garnered hundreds of thousands of followers with his hilariously catty take downs of the royals.

While the cherubic prince may look like butter wouldn’t melt in his mouth, the four-year-old has been transformed into a social media tyrant who isn’t above take a sly dig at ‘commoner’ Meghan Markle, his ‘ET’ lookalike brother and even Kate Middleton’s weight.

The account is run by Gary Janetti, a writer with credits on the likes of Will and Grace and Family Guy.

Gary Janetti has garnered hundreds of thousands of followers with his hilariously catty take downs of the royals, while posing as Prince George. In one post, he attacked Prince Harry’s fiance for her choice of outfit, tweeting: ‘Could you have picked something more basic? Even I have that dress’

Janetti, as the sassy George, also responded to a new story which revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan were inviting 2,640 'commoners' to their wedding. '2,641 if you count the bride,' he wrote

And he appears to save his fiercest Instagram posts for Meghan.

In one post, he attacked Prince Harry’s fiance for her choice of outfit, tweeting: ‘Could you have picked something more basic? Even I have that dress.’

Janetti is clearly unimpressed by Meghan’s fashion sense, and other jibes include a post sharing news that she was planning to have to wedding dresses.

‘Was Topshop having a sale?’ he responded underneath.

In another, he shared a picture of Meghan in a black and white ensemble, asking: ‘Did you get dressed in the car?’

‘2,641 if you count the bride,’ he wrote.

But Meghan wasn’t the only one to be in the firing line.

A photo of the prince’s newborn brother Louis was shared with the caption ‘ET phone home.’

While another post shared a picture of a pregnant Kate Middleton, next to a photo of George, with the caption: ‘Don’t come near me again until you’ve lost the weight.’

He also shared a picture of Prince William, with Prince George and Princess Charlotte, walking past a crowd snapping photos.

‘We’re like the one bright spot in these poor fat slobs’ lives’, the caption read.

The account has already gained 312,000 followers, with many praising the funny take on the young prince and his imagined disdain for his family – and everyone else for that matter.

Although not everyone is a fan.

Some have complained that the writer was using the adorable youngster to be a misogynistic towards women.’

Janetti told the Huffington Post said he’s been inspired to start posting as George, who is third in line to the throne, after noticing how expressive he was.

‘I was like, “Oh, I’ll put a caption with this and give him a little bit of an attitude,”‘ he explained.

‘And it got nothing. It was like, no big nothing. A little while later, I was like, ‘Maybe I could use another photo? And do another caption?’ It just seemed like a blank canvas to put stuff on.’

Janetti admits he has his critics but say they simply ‘don’t get the joke’.

But he has plenty of fans to make up for the negative voices, including the likes of Days of Our Lives star Lisa Rinna, who bizarrely just comments ‘Gary’ on many of his posts, as well as Sarah Michelle Gellar, Kaley Cuoco and Lea Michele.
