Photos showed several fire trucks and firefighters outside the bar located in Manhattan’s Financial District at 30 Water Street, but the situation appeared to be under control.

The bar’s owners said they are still getting more details about what caused the blaze.

No one was hurt in the fire, but the damage was so extensive, the owners said they will have to shut their doors ‘until further notice’.

‘Thank you for your support and understanding at this very difficult time. We’ll let you know more here as soon as we find out,’ the owners wrote on Facebook.

The bar, which is located in a four-floor brick building near Wall Street was opened in February 2013 by Belfast natives, Sean Muldoon and Jack McGarry.
