Fans complain Holly Willoughby’s look is ‘too pricey’

She is known for her show-stopping sense of style, which she shares with fans in daily Instagram snaps.

But Holly Willoughby left her followers somewhat disappointed on Wednesday, when she embarked on her This Morning duties in a look many deemed ‘too pricey’.

The presenter, 36, was showered with praise for another ‘beautiful’ outfit, which teamed together a playful slogan jumper and sequin skirt – but several fans were quick to lament the knitwear’s whopping £350 price tag.

The blonde was typically chic in the playful slogan jumper, which pulled into a simple round neck and was emblazoned with the phrase ‘Abracadabra’ on the front.

Making the look more festive, Holly teamed the top with an all-over sequin midi skirt – which clung to her newly-svelte frame all the way to its knee-length hem.

However, while she tied the ensemble together with classic court shoes, it was the Chinti & Parker jumper that caught the attention of fans, after her tag in the caption revealed it to cost an eye-watering £350.

Many of her fans were quick to lament the huge price tag in the comments, and claim she needs to select clothes more ‘relatable and affordable’ for her followers.

Several disgruntled fans wrote in outrage: ‘350 quid on a jumper?!’ and ‘Imagine falling in love with an outfit and the jumper being £350. Kill me.’

Many others admitted the garment was a hit, but just too expensive, adding: ‘350 for a jumper? No thanks although it’s lovely I wouldn’t be paying 350’, ‘Lovely jumper..won’t be buying this for £350’ and ‘Fantastic jumper, but £350 is too pricey!’

Further fans then urged Holly to start wearing clothes from the high street, so fans can recreate her winning looks at home.
