It was certainly a night of superb goals, with Eden Hazard scoring an excellent individual effort for Chelsea against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup.
One user indicated that Fornals’ goal was the better of the two. They wrote: ‘People are obsessing over Hazard’s goals and overlooking this worldie by Pablo Fornals Amazing …’.
Fornals will be seeking to produce another impressive performance when Villarreal return to action on Saturday with a home game against Valladolid.
