Fans of The Crown can stop inside one of the houses featured in the show

Fans of The Crown can get a taste of royal life this Christmas, as a home featured in season two of the Netflix drama has hit the rental market – with an eye watering price.

To mark the release of the much-anticipated third season, a London-based vacation rental company is offering the ultimate ‘monarch-worthy’ staycation – but it’ll cost a staggering £50,000 for seven days.

Interested parties can get a glimpse inside the palatial Grade I-listed Georgian townhouse dubbed ‘The Earl of Fitzroy’, of which the exterior was featured in the royal drama during series two, located in London’s upmarket Fitzrovia.

It comes complete with corgis, etiquette coaching, horse-drawn carriages, a personal butler and a lavish banquet, thanks to Plum Guide.

The house accommodates up to twelve guests and will be available across December for a minimum stay of one week, on a first-come first-serve basis.

Royal staff will cater to guests’ needs during the trip, including a personal chef and professional mixologist, a Plum Guide representative told FEMAIL.

Those staying at the glamorous home will also be treated to their very own butler, who has worked on events such as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding and the Diamond Jubilee.

Royal enthusiasts will enjoy a workshop with world-renowned etiquette coach, William Hanson, and a horse-and-carriage ride around the beautiful Fitzrovia Square.

Guests can also expect an afternoon tea with corgis, a royal banquet dinner fit for a king or queen, and a hamper full of goodies from all of the Queen’s favourite brands.

As well as this, guests will be offered n exclusive, private tour of the Stately Rooms at Buckingham Palace.

And it seems The Crown fever is catching, as the announcement comes after Uber Eats launched a menu inspired by the Queen’s favourite meals.

To celebrate the return of the hit series, the delivery app has joined forces with royal biographer Katie Nicholl to bring to life the breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner Her Majesty is rumoured to eat.

Breakfast consists of a cup of tea alongside cornflakes served in Tupperware – rumoured to be what the Queen habitually dines on most mornings.

A lunch fit for a Queen includes wild Scottish salmon – Her Majesty likes her caught from the rivers near Balmoral – served alongside a bed of fresh green beans and potatoes.

Afternoon tea consists of delicate cucumber sandwiches with the crusts taken off, and a slice of fruit cake to be enjoyed with the royal favourite of Darjeeling tea.

Finally dinner is a meal of meat, such as lamb, or a game terrine on a bed of wilted spinach. The Queen is said to personally enjoy pheasant from Sandringham or venison from Balmoral – followed by a chocolate torte.
