Farmer Wants A Wife’s Lucie breaks down in tears as she quits the show following her clash with Maddison

Farmer Wants A Wife’s Lucie quit the show on Monday while farmer Andrew was on a date with Jessie.

The 36-year-old made the decision to leave after failing to get one-on-one time with Andrew.

After Andrew and Jessie went on their date, Lucie decided to write a letter to him to reveal she was leaving the show.

‘I do have bit of a crush on Andrew, and I reckon at the ball – had it gone how it was meant to and I got to have my time – I reckon I definitely could have been picked, but I’m not being given an opportunity to see if it can go any further,’ she said.

An emotional Lucie then read her letter to the camera, adding: ‘I need to put myself first and this is not the environment for me.’

‘Although I’m disappointed that we never got get the opportunity to explore what could have been, I think you’re a good match and I think you can find your happy ending.’

She told producers: ‘I came here to fall in love with Andrew and I’m not being given that chance.’

Andrew was left shocked to learn Lucie had left after returning to the farm.

‘It is a shock that Lucie has decided to leave, I wasn’t expecting that by any means,’ he said.

‘I was going with the flow, I thought the conversations would happen when they would happen, maybe I need to seize the opportunity to make those conversations as well.’

Lucie’s departure comes after she clashed with Maddison at the Country Ball on Sunday night.

She called Maddison out for ‘not being genuine’ after she confirmed to the other girls she did not get along with Lucie.

After the argument, Lucie stormed off and called Maddison a ‘snake’, ‘rude’ and a ‘b**ch’.

‘I came here to fall in love with Andrew and I’m not being given that chance,’ an emotional Lucie said
