Farrah Abraham said her daughter was bullied for not having a father on Thursday.
The Teen Mom star posted an Instagram tribute to eight-year-old Sophia’s father Derek Underwood, who died a month before she was born.
‘This past year Sophia was bullied for not having a father at her old public school,’ the entertainer, 26, captioned the photo of Derek’s headstone.

‘I thought why would any child not understand that’s out of ones control and no one would ask for that.
‘In a world full of ignorance and wrong doing I’m happy to say my daughter knows her truth and has strength in that beyond the ignorance,’ she added.
Farrah began the post with a sweet tribute to the father of her only child.

Farrah often posts pictures from the cemetery when she takes Sophia to visit her father’s grave.

Derek died in a car accident on December 28, 2008.
Farrah was eight months pregnant at the time and the couple had broken up before the tragedy.
In her book My Teenage Dream Ended published in 2012, she called Derek ‘my first love, my only true love.’
