A father captured his daughters’ hilarious reactions after April Fool’s Day pranking them into believing they had school during the Easter holidays. 

Philip Boucher-Hayes convinced his two children they had to be in class to make up for the missed days during the heavy snowfall earlier in the month. 

The pair were in their uniform and preparing for a full day of studies when the cruel prankster revealed his devilish rouse.

Sharing the clip on Twitter, he revealed his hilarious prank amusing all – except his two duped daughters. 

The father-of-two from Wicklow, Republic of Ireland said: ‘I know the evil little s**ts have something awful planned for tomorrow morning. But they have yet to find out what a truly twisted genius their father is.

‘Wave if you see them waiting for the bus.’

Followers rushed to commend his diabolical efforts on Twitter.

Karl Brophy said: ‘This beats my sending the kids out in to the garden for a 20 minute Easter Egg hunt. There were no eggs.’

Another said: ‘They are beautiful. You, on the other hand, are the evil genius of parenting. Your nursing home is going to be s**t!’

Mr Boucher-Hayes  added: ‘The only reason I didn’t send them up to wait for the bus was I was too lazy to do the lunchboxes.

‘The real reward is so many have copied it. I am the inspiration behind untold levels of hilarious child fury. This feels like a turning point in my parenting career.’
