A father in North Carolina played a hilarious practical joke on his unsuspecting daughter, placing a stuffed raccoon inside his home.

The clip shows Carswell looking straight into the camera on his phone explaining his plan before it unfolds.
‘So I got this little beauty back from the taxidermist today,’ the former police officer from Raleigh says as he pans his camera-phone towards the preserved animal. ‘Let’s see if I can’t have a little fun with it,’ he adds.
The next scene shows Carswell placing the raccoon in the pantry and leaving a trail of potato chips for his daughter to stumble upon.
‘It don’t get much better than that,’ Carswell quips with slight smile.
Moments later, Carswell’s young daughter comes across the mess on the floor, perplexed about the circumstances that led to disorderly scene.

As Carswell asks his daughter to clean up the mess, she seems oblivious to the dead creature perched on a shelf just inches from her head
‘What happened in here?’ she asks incredulously. ‘Oh, I don’t know,’ her father coyly responds.
‘How did you not notice that a whole bag of chips was emptied onto the floor,’ she says while giggling.
As Carswell asks his daughter to clean up the mess, she seems oblivious to the dead creature perched on a shelf just inches from her head.
After bringing her father two headache tablets from the pantry, she returns to the storage room, and he asks her to bring him a snack.
She lovingly obliges, and as she turns her head to get the treat, viewers see the teenage girl nearly jump off the floor, screeching as she flies out of the pantry.
‘There’s an animal in there, dad!’ she yells as her father can be heard giggling background.
‘Oh my god,’ she bellows one last time, breathing heavily as the video comes to an end.
