FBI releases new age enhanced photos of kids kidnapped four years ago by father to TURKEY

A joint search effort to find two Virginia children missing for more than four years has been spearheaded by the FBI Norfolk Field Office, James City County Police and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Amina Kandil and her brother Belel Kandil were first reported missing from James City County on August 29, 2014. 

At the time of their disappearance, Amina was 10 while her brother was eight.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children just released new age-enhanced photos of the duo.

They were last seen with their father, 46-year-old Ahmed Abdalla Taha on August 30, 2014. 

The three had been taking flight from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York on a flight to Boryspil, Ukraine, and then to Ataturk, Turkey. 

Amina is described as being a white female with blue eyes and brown hair. The at-the-time 5’2″ and 82lbs girl was born on September 1, 2003, according to the FBI.

Belel was born on January 4, 2006, and is described as a white male with blue eyes and blond hair. He was 4’5″ and 55lbs at the time of his disappearance. 

Both children were born in Augusta, Georgia. 

Their father has brown hair with green hair and stands at six feet tall. He weighs approximately 170 to 180lbs and has citizenship in both Egypt and the United States. 

It is believed that the children are living in Alexcandria, Cairo or Giza, Egypt. They could also be living in the Hatay region of Turkey. 

They were last seen with their father, 46-year-old Ahmed Abdalla Taha on August 30, 2014.
