The Bengal tiger, who remained unfazed, had been lounging in a deep puddle of water to cool off in the blistering 104F (40C) heat.

But it was soon joined by an Indian skipper frog, which measured just three inches long, as it daringly climbed on to the tiger’s back.

Mr Singh, from Rajasthan, said: ‘The tiger didn’t mind the frog being there.

‘He couldn’t get rid of it so the tiger prefers to ignore it as they are clearly no threat, just a minor irritant.’
