Emmanuel Ogunloye has been missing since leaving his home on Saturday afternoon

A 13-year-old boy has been missing for three days after failing to show up at a relative’s home after leaving his house.

Emmanuel Ogunloye left his home in Stoke Newington, North East London, on Saturday at about 2pm to visit a relative in the south of the capital, but never arrived.

Scotland Yard detectives believe the teenager, who lives on Barbauld Road, is travelling on trains and buses – but is not carrying a mobile phone or any cash.

He is a black male, around 5ft 8in tall and of slim build. At the time of his disappearance he was wearing blue jeans, a black jacket and black trainers.

Emmanuel has links to Charlton, and his disappearance is said by police to be ‘extremely out of character’. Detectives say they are ‘growing increasingly concerned about the welfare’.

If you have seen the boy or know where he is, call 999 if the sighting is immediate or Hackney CID on 101 – or tweet @metcc.
