Fears grow for Kyle Sandilands as his girlfriend Imogen Anthony reveals he’s ‘extremely sick’

He took three days off work this week, apparently due to suffering from gastro.

But now fears are growing for Kyle Sandilands’ health after his girlfriend Imogen Anthony claimed on Friday that he is ‘extremely sick’.

It comes after the shock jock, 47, also took three days off the previous week, explaining that he was suffering painful side effects from a lower back issue.

Is everything okay? Fears grow for Kyle Sandilands as his girlfriend Imogen Anthony reveals he’s ‘extremely sick’ as he is absent from work for a third day in a row

‘S**t’s f**ked for me sometimes… I’m not okay,’ Imogen, 27, wrote on Instagram.

‘I’m not okay – my family received terrible news yesterday, therefore breaking everyone apart over GODDAMN money,’ she continued.

‘I heard of three deaths last week [and] my partner is extremely sick.’

Kyle has taken three days off this week due to ‘gastro,’ with former NRL star Beau Ryan filling in for him on his KIIS FM show alongside Jackie ‘O’ Henderson.

An ARN spokesperson told Daily Mail earlier this week that Kyle is taking ‘the time he needs to get well,’ and that they ‘wish him a speedy recovery.’

Kyle was also off sick for three days last week and claimed he was suffering painful side effects from a lower back issue.

Kyle added that he went to a kinesiologist to fix the issue.

‘[The kinesiologist] fixes you up. He said my leg was one-and-a-half inches longer than it’s supposed to be. My whole back was out. I was a wreck!’ he revealed.

‘I couldn’t be here. I had a bad headache [and I was] vomiting!’

The Sydney radio star explained that the therapist did manage to restore balance to his misaligned body and he felt ‘better’.

Kyle’s first day off last week came a day after the reigning FM breakfast champions lost their top spot to WSFM’s Jonesy and Amanda.

However, he denied that his absence had anything to do with ratings, telling The Daily Telegraph he was ‘crook’ and dealing with side affects from his new medication.

In March last year, Kyle was told that he was going to die in 2018 of a heart attack, with the resident psychic of his radio show telling him the shocking news.

‘I’m dead soon guys,’ Kyle joked after hearing her predictions.

‘Heart attack? I’m like an ox!,’ Kyle said, shocked.

When the psychic said she didn’t want to tell Kyle anymore details, Jackie said she was scared.

‘It scares me when she does that,’ Jackie said.

‘You need to have a calcium score test on your chest,’ the psychic mysteriously said.

Kyle said he didn’t know what the test was, with it being able to measure the calcium in your arteries to determine the risk of a heart attack or stroke.

In 2014, Kyle was also told he’d die soon due to his weight and lifestyle.

Obesity specialist Dr Edward Jackowski told New Idea that Kyle will be dead by the end of the year and was at risk of having a stroke or heart attack.

In 2016, Kyle revealed on his radio show that he tipped the scales at a 138kgs.

In 2015, Kyle made headlines with growing concerns for his health after missing a number of radio shows and even failing to show up as a guest co-host on The Project.

When appearing on The Morning Show that August, he attempted to silence fat-shamers by stripping off and showing his body in all its glory.

‘This is an Australian man,’ he said as he ripped off his black T-shirt to reveal his portly frame during the rare TV appearance.

‘I have been fat shamed over all the newspapers and magazines but Australia here it is.’

The big breakfast fan later added he wasn’t sure why he had just stripped off on national television but wanted to be clear that he is ‘very happy’ with his body.

‘I just can’t stand people saying look at that fat sloth,’ he said.

Putting jokes aside, the smoker revealed he has become aware that something needs to be done to improve his health and figure.

‘I think I am going to have to do something about the weight,’ he said.

‘I am a mess and would like to live a bit longer,’ he added before stating he will be having ‘an operation in December,’ leaving out the in-depth details.
