Fears grow for missing teenage boy, 13, who was last near picturesque reservoir in Rochdale

  • Tyler Proud was last seen in the Hollingworth Lake area on Wednesday 
  • Police are growing increasingly concerned over the teenager’s whereabouts
  • He was last seen wearing a navy baseball cap, a dark bubble jacket and trainers

Police are continuing to search for a teenage boy in Rochdale who has been missing since Wednesday afternoon.

Tyler Proud, 13, was last seen in the Hollingworth Lake area on Wednesday (29) at around 4pm.

Officers are growing increasingly concerned over the teenager’s whereabouts and are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.

Tyler was last seen wearing green trainers, a dark bubble jacket, jogging bottoms and a navy baseball cap

Tyler is white, around 5ft 7in tall and has short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a navy baseball cap, a dark bubble jacket, jogging bottoms and green trainers.

Greater Manchester Police released an appeal on Wednesday evening asking for help from the public.

Tyler is still missing and police are yet to release an update.

A GMP spokesman said: ‘Police are appealing for the public’s help to find a 13-year-old boy who was last seen in the Hollingworth Lake area of Rochdale at around 4pm, Wednesday 29 August 2018.’

They added: ‘Police are growing increasingly concerned for the whereabouts of Tyler and want him home safely, as soon as possible.’
