A female Peter Pan driver has been arrested after allegedly locking a woman in the luggage compartment of the bus.

Wendy Helena Alberty, 49, was charged with reckless endangerment, unlawful arrest and breach of peace on Sunday evening.

State police received a call at around 4pm from the upset 32-year-old woman,  from New York, who was trapped in the vehicle, according to Boston Magazine.

The bus, which was en route to Boston, would be tracked down and later intercepted by officers on Interstate 84 near the town of Willington, in Connecticut.

It’s unclear how long the woman had been trapped inside the luggage hold for and from where she had been traveling.

The passenger informed officers that ‘she had been purportedly locked inside by a female driver while attempting to retrieve items from her bag.’

Troopers said the victim was unharmed during the incident and refused the option to be looked-over by medical professionals.

Alberty, who was then a passenger on the bus, according to the magazine, was then arrested by officers.

An unidentified male driver who was behind the wheel at the time of the arrest will not face any charges.

She is being held on a $2,000 bond and will appear at Rockville Court on August 21 to face the first and second degree charges.
