It is not clear how much the pieces will retail for when they go on sale. However, SKIMS’ current undergarment line ranges in price from $18 for a simple thong to $52 for a push-up bra.

‘Thank you @skims for including me in the SKIMS for Team USA collection! Really excited to be a part of it!’ Chloe gushed on Instagram, while sharing some more pics of herself rocking the clothes.

Chloe famously became the youngest woman to win an Olympic snowboarding gold medal when she took home the gold in the women’s snowboard halfpipe in 2018 – at only 17 years old.

Amber, who was the 2021 U.S. national silver medalist in figure skating, added in her own post, ‘It’s so exciting to be part of the @SKIMS for Team USA campaign alongside such an inspiring group of athletes. I love that SKIMS celebrates our differences whatever they may be.’

Aja, who won the bronze medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics, said it has always been a ‘dream of hers’ to work with brands ‘highlighting strong female American athletes.’

Oksana, who has has won a whopping eight Paralympic medals throughout her career, wrote, ‘I feel extremely privileged and honored to be a part of this campaign with @skims for Team USA, celebrating the incredible strength of female athletes across a diverse range of backgrounds. Thank you @kimkardashian for supporting Team USA.’

As for Maame, who competed in the 2018 Winter Olympic, she said she was ecstatic to back a brand that spread ’empowerment, inclusion, and strength.’

‘I love everything that @SKIMS and @teamusa stand for and I am so grateful to be featured in this inspiring campaign!’ Madison – a two-time World medalist, a three-time Grand Prix Final silver medalist, a two-time Four Continents champions, and a three-time U.S. national champion – shared in a post of her own.

Back in June, Kim first announced that her SKIMS brand was teaming up with Team USA, and at the time, she revealed that the clothing line would provide the official underwear, pajamas, and loungewear for the female athletes heading to Tokyo to compete in the 2020 Olympic Games.

‘I am honored to announce that @skims is designing the official team USA undergarments, pajamas and lounge wear for the athletes this year in Tokyo,’ she wrote on Twitter at the time.

‘We’re so proud to be supporting female athletes during the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo,’ the reality star-turned-entrepreneur added in a statement.

‘These women are incredible role models for younger girls, including my own daughters, showing them that anything is possible if you work hard enough.

‘SKIMS is designed to empower women to feel their best every day and we’re excited to work with Team USA to help spread this message.’

Kim enlisted several big-name Team USA athletes to model the designs for the previous campaign, including soccer star Alex Morgan, WNBA star A’ja Wilson, Paralympian Scout Bassett, track and field champ Dalilah Muhammad, and swimmer Haley Anderson.

On Instagram, Kim went on to explain why she feels so personally connected to the Games, referencing her stepfather Caitlyn Jenner – who took home gold for the decathlon at the 1976 Montreal Olympics.

‘Ever since I was 10 years old, I’ve heard every single detail about the Olympics from my stepdad,’ she wrote.

‘As I would watch the athletes compete, I would grow to understand the dedication and honor being a part of the Olympics embodied.

‘I traveled [with] my stepdad and family to all different cities for the Olympic trials, the Olympics and track meets of @caitlynjenner’s and at every stop I would buy an Olympic T-shirt as a souvenir.

‘When I received the call inviting Skims to be a part of @TeamUSA, every moment I’ve spent admiring the strength and energy of the Olympians from the sidelines came full circle.’

It is unclear how much the licensing deal between SKIMS and the U.S. Olympic Committee (USOC) is worth, though it is likely that Kim isn’t being paid by the USOC – in fact, she is almost certainly paying for the privilege to dress the Olympians as a sponsor.

According to The Street, Nike signed a deal in 2014 to pay $4 million a year to dress Olympians. When they re-upped in 2020, the new deal – which is good through 2028 – is reportedly worth as much as $200 million.

But the payoff comes both in prominent advertising on an international stage, as well as more concrete clothing sales.

In the five years after Ralph Lauren became an official outfitter of Team USA, the company’s stock rose by $100 a share.
