Here’s your chance to explore Amsterdam, Bruges, Berlin, Copenhagen and Oslo from the comfort of your armchair – thanks to a set of interactive ‘gigapixel’ photos.

The fascinating images of the cityscapes each contain more than four billion pixels – a few more than the new iPhone 11 Pro’s 12million – and comprise 500 individual photos. This allows viewers to keep zooming in on them for detail just not possible in regular high-definition photos.

What’s more, each picture contains a hidden code. Find them all and you could be in with a chance of winning a cruise for two.

The amazing snaps were taken over a two-week period by photographer Will Pearson for the Celebrity Cruises ‘Celebrity X Marks the Spot’ competition.

Hidden in each of the images is the Celebrity Cruises X-shaped logo, containing a unique code.

Anybody able to find a code in each of the five pictures can enter a draw to win a luxury cruise onboard Celebrity’s new ship, Celebrity Apex, which launches in March next year.

The cruise up for grabs is the 10-night Northern Europe Capital Cities sailing, which departs from Southampton on April 13, 2020.

The new ship’s itinerary will take guests to Oslo, Copenhagen, Berlin (Warnemunde), Amsterdam, Bruges (Zeebrugge) and Paris (Le Havre).
