But on Sunday, Fiona Falkiner had her turn as the biggest winner, when she walked into a surprise birthday party.
Turning 35, the plus-size model was clearly emotional when she saw the surprise shindig in her honour, which was organised by her girlfriend Lara Creber.

Taking to Instagram to capture the moment, the TV personality can clearly be seen in a state of shock, glassy-eyed with her hand over her mouth.
‘My first ever surprise party,’ she posted, ‘No words, tears, laughs and smiles thank you so munch [sic] to all the beauty people in my life.’
The reality show star then taking a moment to thank her girlfriend,’especially you, @larzicrebs.’

Socialite Fiona made the decision to go public with her girlfriend in October last year, after images emerged of the couple kissing.
Explaining her decision to come out, Fiona said, ‘Who cares if you are tall, short, have some wobbly bits or some muscly bits, hairy or bald, love a man or a woman, every body is unique and beautiful,’ she said.
