First look at the scorched ruins of celebrity Malibu homes following deadly wildfires

Dozens of homes and mansions destroyed in the devastating and deadly California wildfires that mercilessly ripped through the state still lie in ashen ruins.

A first glimpse at Malibu’s severely damaged mansions and properties owned by stars like Anthony Hopkins, Kim Basinger, Robin Thicke, and Camille Grammer showing the scorched remains and slow signs of reconstruction.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth lost their sprawling $2.525million Malibu mansion after it was consumed by the raging Woolsey Fire that blazed through the area in November.

The couple were heartbroken to lose their estate and shared jarring photos of the torched remains of their home where all that was left was a sign that said ‘Love’.

As of Thursday there was still scorched debris on their property but the area around the home was covered in healthy green grass and shrubs, a sign that nature is making its comeback after the hills went up in flames.

The 2018 California wildfires marked the deadliest and most destructive in California history.

The Woolsey Fire ignited on November 8 and blazed until November 21.

It razed through over 96,000 acres of land and killed three people. It destroyed 1,643 homes and buildings and caused more than 295,000 people to evacuate their hillside homes.

Welsh actor Anthony Hopkins was also affected in the fire and now his massive Malibu mansion is under construction to restore it to its former glory.

The Silence of the Lambs actor home was still standing following the fire and miraculously managed to escape the blaze seemingly unscathed.

I went to my safe and I grabbed jewelry, documents, birth certificates, and passports,’ the 50-year-old newlywed said following the incident.

‘The bigger pieces of art we couldn’t take, but we grabbed an Andrew Wyeth painting. I also took some photographs that meant something to me – my great-aunt who passed away a couple years ago. I took pictures of my family. We packed as much as we could into three cars.’
