FIRST LOOK: Carey Mulligan appears unrecognizable as she is spotted on set of She Said playing journalist who helped take down Harvey Weinstein

Carey Mulligan appeared nearly unrecognizable on the set of her upcoming movie She Said in New York this week.

The 36-year-old actress had transformed into Megan Twohey, one of the journalists who helped unmask Harvey Weinstein’s sexual misconduct.

For her latest screen incarnation Carey was New York chic in a navy blazer with black slacks and an elegant grey scarf.

Carey, who in real life sported a blonde look earlier this year on the awards circuit, was wearing a long dark hairdo with fringe on the set this week.

While playing Megan she shaded her eyes with dark sunglasses, carrying a takeaway coffee as she headed onto the sidewalk.

Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor were the authors of the New York Times report that blew open the story of Harvey Weinstein’s sexual predation.
