He added: ‘I’ve watched it [EastEnders] so many times over the years, so to be here is just fantastic.

The cameo comes after Harry revealed earlier this month that he’s excited to be a grandad after his son Jamie announced he’s expecting a child with Frida Andersson.

Harry previously said of the baby news: ‘Yeah I’m really pleased, it’s good news. So looking forward to that and it’s exciting times.’

The grandfather-of-five, soon to be six, added: ‘I enjoy spending time with the grandkids, I love it, I really do.

‘Going to watch them play football and sport… I love being there and turning up and watching the kids and taking them to football on Saturday.’

The couple, who have been linked since August, are said to be ecstatic and the baby is reportedly due in November.

A source told The Sun: ‘Jamie and Frida are absolutely delighted. They’ve been virtually inseparable in lockdown, and their relationship has gone from strength to strength.’

Harry’s wife Sandra, 75, also noted that Jamie’s ex-wife Louise is ‘doing great’ after hearing the happy news.
