What you’ll need to make a McChicken

1 Aldi brioche bun: $2.49 for a pack of four ($0.62 each)

Coles Frozen Chicken Breast Tenders: $3.80 for 400g ($0.95 per 100g)

Praise Traditional 99% Fat Free Mayo: $3.70

What sets them apart even further is the 25-year-old’s homemade creation is a healthier option because it’s high in protein and it’s macro friendly.

‘This is so good guys. The low calorie, high protein, macro friendly McChicken,’ she said in her TikTok video.

‘Grab those brioche buns from Aldi and the Coles crumbed chicken tenders, add lettuce and light mayo – and there you go.

‘It’s 362 calories over 20 grams of protein, it’s so delicious, I’m loving it.’

The secret to the McDonald’s-inspired creation is Aldi’s brioche buns, which taste ‘literally like McDonald’s’.

To make the burger, she simply baked two crumbed chicken tenders and toasted the buns in a pan over a stove.

Next, she layered the bottom bun with the chicken tenders, topped with lettuce. She squeezed light mayonnaise on the top bun and then placed over the lettuce.

She said her burger contains 21.4 grams of protein, 12.5 grams of fat and 40.1 grams of carbs.
