A fitness enthusiast has shared her incredible body transformation with fans online, revealing how she gained 10 kilos in the space of two years to become a more stress-free and less anxious version of herself.  

Erin James, from Newcastle, weighed just 51 kilos in 2019 before she gained 12 kilos after hitting the gym five days a week and increasing the amount of protein in her diet. 

The model, 22, has inspired many of her followers by revealing her impressively toned figure in a video posted to TikTok which now has more than 3.8million views. 

Erin told FEMAIL her fitness journey began two years ago when she inadvertently started losing weight as a result of stress and poor eating habits.

‘I had so much anxiety, I couldn’t eat and began to lose a lot of weight from being under so much stress,’ she said. 

Erin said she was so weak she would often faint and was left feeling unmotivated in life and when it came to logging in regular exercise.

After parted ways with her ex partner Erin started training at the gym more than ever before and eating more calories in order to look and feel better. 

She said the gym was an important tool in improving her mental health.

Erin now hits the gym an impressive five times a week, splitting her sessions between three lower body workouts and two upper body workouts.

Her favourite exercises are ‘all the basic movements’ like lunges, squats, hips thrusts and deadlifts.

‘When performed with progressive overload and good technique you will progress,’ Erin said.

After enlisting the help of Newcastle personal trainer Sequoia Stewart Erin started following a balanced, protein-heavy meal plan designed for muscle growth.
