Fitness model Chontel Duncan intense workout giving birth

Last year, Australian fitness model and expert, Chontel Duncan, sent social media into a frenzy, after she shared photos of her incredible set of abs at eight months pregnant.

Now, at the same stage for the second time around, the passionate fitness pro from Brisbane, Queensland, has captured the Internet’s attention once more.

This time, Ms Duncan has shared videos on her Instagram page of her intense HIIT workouts at 36 and a half weeks pregnant.

With less than 21 days to go before the 28-year-old is considered full-term in her second pregnancy, Chontel’s gruelling fitness regime shows no sign of slowing down.

‘Session number three for the week done and dusted,’ Chontel posted earlier this week – alongside a clip of the founder of HIIT Australia on a cross trainer, lifting weights and doing squats.

‘Baby bump popping hard,’ she continued. ‘Body feeling super tight and the pressure down there is next level. 

‘No matter how I wake up training always fixes it,’ she concluded.

Chontel later posted another workout video of herself – her fourth workout for her 36th week – in which she can be seen lifting dumbbells and kettlebells, seemingly with ease.

‘This morning (like every morning) I wanted to stay in bed, it’s wet outside and still a tad chilly. PURPOSE IS AN INCREDIBLE ALARM CLOCK.’

Last March, Chontel also kept working out up until around 38 weeks pregnant, thanking her body for giving her the ability to work out till birth (pictured during her second pregnancy)

This isn’t the first time the Brisbane mother has attracted attention for documenting her so-called ‘fit pregnancy’ online. 

Last March, Chontel also kept working out up until around 38 weeks pregnant, thanking her body for giving her the ability to keep working out right up till birth:

‘I am SUPER grateful for my pre-pregnancy health condition that has allowed my body to absolutely smash this pregnancy & provided me with the ability to keep moving now almost at 37 weeks. 

‘Not long now until I’ll be completely out of action,’ she wrote at the time.

Chontel also won plaudits for maintaining her abs while she was pregnant. 

The Queensland finalist in Miss Universe Australia 2009 also wowed thousands with her incredibly lean body and tiny baby bump.
