Fitness-obsessed Colorado man is SLAMMED for boasting that his eight-month-old baby son is ‘lean’

A fitness fanatic dad is being mocked as ‘insane’ for boasting that his eight-month-old son is ‘lean’ because he ‘isn’t eating processed s***’ and is only fed eggs, fruit, and vegetables.

Jrey, a bodybuilder from Fort Collins, Colorado, frequently shares gym selfies and workout pictures that flaunt his muscular physique, but the father-of-one recently went viral on Twitter for sharing a breakdown of his infant son’s diet.

Jrey listed the healthy foods that he and his partner feed their son and insisted that it’s why the baby is so ‘lean’ and ‘handsome’ — leading Twitter users to ridicule him for bragging about such a bizarre thing and passing off in own body issues to his son.

Earlier this week, Jrey tweeted not his own daily diet but his eight-month-old son’s.

‘We feed our son: whole eggs, whole fruit, whole vegetables, H20,’ he wrote. ‘We grind up his vegetables/proteins most the time, until he can chomp away on his own.’

He also boasted that his son is in the 99th percentile for height and head size, and 70th percentile for weight.

‘He’s lean [because] he isn’t eating processed s***,’ he wrote. ‘And unusually handsome.’

Jrey’s tweet quickly went viral, with commenters mocking his boast about his ‘lean’ son as ‘the weirdest flex ever.’

‘Bro nobody but you two care about your baby being lean or not. It’s a baby,’ wrote one commenter.

‘Congrats on your, uh, “lean baby”, a normal thing to have and boast about,’ wrote another.

‘Same “physique” of nearly every other 8 month old on the planet, but sure,’ tweeted another.

‘My parents did that to me too. Now I’m fit AND depressed,’ wrote one.

‘It’s cool to share body dysmorphia with your kids. They’ll really appreciate it when they are battling thru adolescence,’ tweeted another.

‘Is it just me or does this baby look like literally every other baby on earth that’s not currently being groomed to have an eating disorder?’ one more asked.

Many also pointed out that Jrey’s son’s diet is hardly revolutionary — and that blended-up fruits and vegetables are just homemade baby food.

According to WebMD, eight-month-old babies should have already been introduced to solids, but should also be consuming 24 to 32 ounces of formula or breast milk every day.

It’s unclear if Jrey’s baby is drinking either, as he did not mention them in the tweet.

Eight-month-olds can also eat baby cereal, fruit, vegetables, and mashed or pureed meats.

Twitter users also argued that baby weight is heavily reliant on genetics.

Others trash-talked Jrey’s baby like one bodybuilding man might do to another, with one joking: ‘he’s skipping leg day.’

‘How much does your kid lift?’ asked one.

‘I feed my 8 month old red bull and taco bell. he’s 4 feet tall and would easily defeat your child in hand to hand combat,’ quipped another.

‘I’m stronger then that baby and I only eat processed food,’ said one more.
