‘So I had a few ladies asking me if I pack my suitcase in a certain way,’ Kayla began her post.

‘If I know I’m travelling for a long time and I’m visiting a lot of places, I will take TWO suitcases.

‘One – full with clothes and toiletries etc etc. The other – empty. I travel with an empty suitcase because that’s for my dirty clothes.

‘I cannot mix my clean clothes and dirty clothes together in one bag (not even if they are in plastic bags),’ the 27-year-old Forbes rich-lister continued.

‘I always pack my suitcase with the clothes on the hangers already so when I get where I need to be, I just put them in the wardrobe how they are.’

When it comes to returning from a trip, it seems even Kayla dreads dealing with the inevitable laundry pile up.

But she has a strategy for streamlining the unpacking and washing process that she said guarantees success:

‘When returning from my trip, I put all my clothes in order of colour in my suitcase,’ Kayla continued.

‘So, all dark clothes on one side, coloured and whites on the other side (this makes it easier when I get home to organise my washing).’

She concluded that in the spare suitcase she’ll also put ‘all my toiletries, shoes and things I’ve bought… this also makes it super easy to unpack when I get home.’

The 27-year-old’s bizarre packing methods have both inspired and surprised her ten million followers.

Some vowed to give her technique a try and others sayid they weren’t so sold on the idea of bringing two suitcases – just so you can avoid mixing dirty and clean clothes.

‘I love this. Thanks for the organisation tip,’ one person posted.

‘Girl after my own heart. I do similar things when my husband and I travel,’ another added.

However, one further commenter concluded: ‘Just wait until you have to pack for kids to tag along on your trip! Do they get extra suitcases for their soiled clothing? And guess who carries it all? Not them!’.
