Five of the most expensive properties publicly listed for sale in Britain have been revealed – and they all have eight-figure price tags.

The cheapest of the bunch rings in at a ‘mere’ £26.95million, while the most expensive is an eye-watering £45million.

They are all in London or Surrey, but vary in type and include a three-bedroom flat, as well as a new build mansion that is near Kensington Palace.
