Fleabag’s ‘Hot Priest’ Andrew Scott has been rushed to hospital for surgery.
The actor, 34, is undergoing minor surgery, which has forced the live-streamed theatre show, in which he stars, to be halted.
The Irish star was due to front five performances of Three Kings, from July 29 to August 1, but the Old Vic theatre confirmed the remaining productions would be rescheduled.

A tweet said: ‘We are sorry to let you know that Andrew Scott is now in hospital to undergo minor surgery and we therefore need to reschedule this week’s performances of #OVInCamera #OVThreeKings.
‘The issue isn’t serious (or COVID-19 related) and we are expecting Andrew to have a speedy recovery. He sends his love and apologies and says he’ll see everyone next week.’

Stephen Beresford penned the new play about ‘fathers and sons, the gifts and burdens of inheritance, and the unfathomable puzzle of human relationships’.
The production, directed by The Old Vic’s artistic director Matthew Warchus, is being streamed live from the stage, with the empty auditorium as a backdrop, for just five performances.
The Old Vic says its In Camera series is a ‘creative experiment and also crucial in igniting the box office now all our usual channels of revenue have been entirely wiped out and we fight to preserve this beloved theatre for our audiences, surrounding schools and communities, staff, crew, and the myriad of writers, performers and creatives that work with us’.
The famous theatre remains closed to the public.
However, the Government has announced that indoor performances with socially-distanced live audiences will be allowed, subject to the success of pilots, from August 1.

Andrew shot to worldwide fame as the ‘Hot Priest’ in critically-acclaimed drama Fleabag, alongside Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
Despite earning huge support from fans, The Priest and Fleabag’s romance came to an end when he decided to maintain his faith in the series’ final episode.
The show was also beloved by fans for Phoebe’s breaking of the fourth wall in scenes, which Andrew said would cause fans to ‘scream in their living rooms.’
Later this year Andrew is also set to star in Showtime’s adaptation of the Patricia Highsmith classic The Talented Mr Ripley about the famous conman who manipulates his way to the top of London society.
The acclaimed actor added that despite doubts, he believes viewers can adapt to intellectual pieces of television in the newfound era of binging and box sets.
Along with his role in Fleabag, Andrew is also renowned for his performance as Jim Moriarty in Sherlock opposite Benedict Cumberbatch.
