Florence went public with new boyfriend Charlie, 26, last month when they were spotted canoodling in London on Valentine’s Day.
Until then, the couple had kept their romance under wraps, yet Instagram posts by the actress reveal that they have been enjoying each other’s company for quite some time, with a source telling MailOnline the romance has been known to their loved ones for ‘months’.
While the exact date of their romance is not yet known, the pair attended a festival together over the summer, shortly before Florence announced her split from boyfriend of three years, Zach Braff, 47.
The Good Person actress has recently been in New York City promoting the movie, which was directed by her ex-boyfriend Zach.
On Wednesday morning, Florence stopped by Good Morning America to talk about her new film and her old boyfriend.
Florence and Zach dated for three years before breaking up in 2022 and they have a very healthy post-breakup relationship.
During her interview on GMA, she praised her ex and the time they had working together on A Good Person.
‘It is a sensitive, dark and sad topic but there are moments of levity and Zach has written a fantastic script and it mentions how we deal in times of sadness,’ Florence said.
Zach also sang Florence’s praises during the production of the project, calling her ‘one of the best actresses working’ today.

Speaking to Collider, he said: ‘Florence Pugh’s performance in the movie, I know I’m biased, but it’s the most miraculous thing you will ever see.’
‘It’s her going toe-to-toe with Morgan Freeman,’ he continued. ‘You haven’t seen Morgan like this in years.’
‘I know that anything Florence does is incredible,’ he said, before adding: ‘People say she’s maybe the best actress of her generation. I think she’s one of the best actresses working.’
The film follows Allison (Florence), whose world crumbles in the blink of an eye when she survives an unimaginable tragedy, emerging from recovery with opioid addiction and unresolved grief.
Eventually, she forms an unlikely friendship with her would-be father-in-law (Freeman), which gives her a fighting chance to put her life back together and move forward.
As far as working with Freeman, she said she felt lucky for the opportunity. And their characters meshed well. ‘It is an unexpected friendship but it is deeply needed,’ she said of her on screen relationship with Freeman’s character.
‘She needs him as much as he needs her,’ she said after looking at a clip of their dramatic scene for the movie on GMA.
Over the weekend, Zach got together with his ex’s family for dinner – without Florence.

The Garden State actor spent his Saturday night with Florence’s parents Clinton Pugh and Deborah Pugh as well as her grandmother Pat.

Last year, Florence spoke to The Sunday Times about the cruel comments she received from trolls after wishing Zach a happy 46th birthday.
She said: ‘I think it bugs people that it’s not who they expected. But it’s my life and I’m not doing anything to please people or to make it a better headline or story. I want to also be a person!’
