Florence Pugh puts on a sideshow in flirty necktie top at NYC screening of A Good Person

Oscar nominee Florence Pugh had all eyes on her as she arrived to the Manhattan screening of her new film, A Good Person, at Metrograph in Manhattan’s Lower East Side on Monday.

The British 27-year-old put on quite a sideshow in a flirty backless necktie top tucked into a black maxi-skirt, and towering platform pumps selected by stylist Rebecca Corbin-Murray.

Hairstylist Peter Lux coiffed Florence’s flaxen bob into an elaborate updo just like she wore to the 95th Academy Awards on March 12.

Make-up artist Alex Babsky brought out Pugh’s pretty brown eyes and bushy brows with pink lipstick on her pout.

The Puss in Boots: The Last Wish actress’ shirt resembled the tuxedo top Jennifer Beals donned in a memorable date scene as her welder-stripper character in Adrian Lyne’s 1983 dance drama, Flashdance.

Joining Florence on the black carpet were her mother Deborah Mackin and father Clinton Pugh, who’s reportedly a restaurateur.

At one point, Pugh was seen dutifully fastening one of the necklaces on her mother, who was wearing a fabulous white floral coat.

The Wonder star was also supported at the screening by her beloved grandmother – whom she affectionately calls ‘Granzo Pat’ – wearing a chic b&w graphic-print coat.

Florence pulled double duty serving as producer and starring as vehicular manslaughterer Allison opposite Morgan Freeman in the grief drama A Good Person, which hits UK/US theaters this Friday.

The Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer flick was written, produced, and directed by Pugh’s former live-in love Zach Braff – whom she dated from April 2019 to early 2022.

The Scrubs alum – who turns 48 next month – has remained more than amicable with the 5ft3in blonde, having dined with her and her family on Saturday night.

‘I’m just in awe of her talent,’ Zach – rocking a three-piece green suit – gushed to ET on Monday.

‘And I said, “I wanna write this [movie] for Florence. What I’m writing is really gonna be challenging and she’s incredible.”‘

Braff originally met Florence in August 2018 when he directed her in his 12-minute Adobe Creative Cloud short film, In the Time It Takes To Get There.

Later this year, audiences can catch the Don’t Worry Darling actress as Jean Tatlock in the biopic Oppenheimer hitting US theaters July 21, as well as Princess Irulan in Dune: Part Two hitting US theaters November 3.

Florence was very excited to catch up with her co-star Zoe Lister-Jones, who plays Simone in A Good Person.

The 40-year-old Brooklyn native – who styled her platinum-blonde hair in a French twist – wore a red heart-print bra-top, matching belted mini-skirt, and peep-toe platforms selected by stylist Laura Sophie Cox.

Pugh was also seen excitedly chatting with three-time Emmy nominee Molly Shannon, who plays Allison’s mother Diane in A Good Person.
