One couple threw their gender reveal party in the most Florida way possible – by having their pet alligator pop a balloon as a part of the big reveal.

Stacie Childs-Wright and her husband Chad are from Tampa and share a pet alligator named Amos.

To reveal the sex of their 10th baby together they decided to pop a black balloon filled with a colorful powder to signify the sex of the child – pink for a baby girl and blue for a baby boy.

Video footage of the reveal shows the couple holding the balloon over the gator’s mouth by using a stick.  

After a couple tries the giant gator secures the balloon in his jaws, bursts it and a cloud of pink powder emerges signifying the couple will have a little girl.
