Florida woman, 37, ‘slashed and punched her boyfriend because he said he was “too tired” to have sex’

Jennifer Chapman, 36, has been charged with aggravated battery for allegedly attacking her boyfriend with a knife
A Florida man’s decision to reject his girlfriend’s amorous advances has left him with knife wounds and landed her behind bars.
The lovers’ quarrel took place in Dunedin, Florida, shortly before 6am on July 5. The girlfriend, 37-year-old Jennifer Lee Chapman, was arrested five days later and booked into the Pinellas County Jail on a felony count of aggravated battery.
According to a criminal complaint cited by The Smoking Gun, Chapman and her 36-year-old live-in boyfriend ‘got into a verbal argument over defendant wanting to have sex and the victim did not because he was too tired.’
Angered by the rejection, Chapman allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife and sliced her own arm.

When her boyfriend attempted to wrest the knife out her hands to stop her from further hurting herself, a struggle ensued.
As Chapman and her boyfriend were tussling on the floor, the woman allegedly slashed her boyfriend’s arm and shoulder multiple times, leaving him bloodied.
Chapman also allegedly head-butted and punched her paramour in the face.
Despite the violent incident, her boyfriend, who lovingly calls Chapman ‘Pookie,’ according to their Facebook pages, seemingly has no hard feelings toward her.
‘Never been away from.pookie [sic] like this its [sic] tearing me up,’ he lamented in a comment on the day of her arrest.

Based on his previous posts, the couple have been dating since at least April 2017.
Meanwhile, Chapman is also facing a probation violation charge stemming from her guilty plea last October to charges of possession of marijuana, crystal meth and Xanax.
Her criminal record also includes three traffic violations, including driving with a suspended license and running a red light.
