Foodies are going wild for new Toblerone cheesecake, which can be found on sale in Coles supermarkets across Australia. 

The delicious dessert was spotted by the people behind the Instagram profile Food Finds Geelong, who gave the frozen food 8/10 in their rating.

‘The topping generally tastes like a Toberlone but when eaten all together it does get lost as the biscuit base does overpower it,’ the food bloggers posted.

‘In saying that, the biscuit base is delicious and blends perfectly with semi sweet centre and again really good for a frozen cheesecake. 8/10.’

The frozen dessert was spotted in Coles supermarkets, and it is currently available online for $11.

Product description on the website states that the cheesecake is ‘a delicious baked cheesecake on a chocolate flavoured biscuit base topped with Toblerone’s smooth milk chocolate’.

Since they saw it, foodies have been going crazy for the idea.

‘Oh my god, I need this!’ one posted.

The dessert comes hot on the heels of Toblerone ice cream, which launched in January for just $5 a pack.

Versions of the ice cream had proved popular in the UK and Philippines since its release in 2018 but this is the first time Australians have been able to taste-test the delicious treat. 

The exciting addition to the freezer section sent Aussies into a spin, with everyone hurriedly tagging their friends in the post to hint at their next supermarket purchase.

‘Undoubtedly this will change my life for the better,’ one person said.
