Dramatic body camera footage has captured first responders searching for survivors of a small plane crash in Florida that left three people dead. 

The Cessna 421 plane crashed into the woods and caught fire near DeLand, just north of Orlando, on Sunday at about 4pm.

Authorities said all three people who were on board the plane were found dead at the scene.

Footage taken from an officer’s body camera showed first responders and nearby witnesses running through the woods searching for the crash site. 

They could be seen dragging the three bodies from the plane wreckage. 

The Volusia Sheriff’s Office said the three adults did not have pulses when they were found. 

The identities of the victims have not yet been released. 

Several witnesses in the area reported seeing the plane go down.

They reported seeing the twin-engine plane rolling over before spiraling down and crashing. 

Several explosions also occurred in the moment after the crash. 

The Florida Forest Service provided a bulldozer to help open a path to the crash site. 

Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Arlene Salac said that the agency is investigating.

The National Transportation Safety Board will determine the probable cause of the crash. 

Several witnesses in the area reported seeing the plane go down. Aerial footage showed smoke billowing from the woods following several explosions when the plane went down
