Footballer James Maddison’s model girlfriend Kennedy shares adorable photo of their newborn son

Leicester City footballer James Maddison and his model girlfriend Kennedy Alexa welcomed a son named Leo on Saturday, and new mother Kennedy, 27, has now shared an adorable photo of the little lad.

Posting a sweet snap of Leo to Instagram on Monday, the newborn could be seen bundled up in a grey blanket while nestled on a bed.

Telling fans she’s ‘never felt a love like it’ and making sure to mention her 24-year-old partner, the brunette beauty captioned her post: ‘Leo Cruz Maddison 7/31/21. never felt a love like it.’ [sic]

She added: ‘@madders and I are on cloud nine! thank you everyone for their kind words & love.’

Leo had been gently laid out on a white bedsheet and his little eyes were half open.

The baby boy also had sweet tufts of hair poking out the top of his head and his arms and legs were cosily tucked inside the blanket he was coddled in.

Hours earlier, James himself took to social media to share the incredible news, uploading an adorable snap of himself cradling his newborn son alongside the caption: ‘Leo Cruz Maddison. 31/07/21. Welcome to the world son.’

‘Best feeling in the world’: James shared a sweet video with his newborn son on Instagram

The athlete continued: ‘I love you with all my heart @kennedyalexa you were amazing sweetheart.’

James later shared a sweet video cuddling his son captioned ‘best feeling in the world’ and a family snap with Kennedy and the pair’s dog.

He was swiftly congratulated by celebrity friends including Jamie Redknapp and Becky Vardy. 

It comes after the sports star got very friendly with a bevy of beauties in Ibiza last month, during an afternoon of partying with girls at Blue Marlin beach club, after missing out on being selected for the England Euro 2020 squad.

He showed off his heavily inked torso as he went shirtless at the day party on July 4 while getting cosy with different women who joined him.

While James soaked up the sun in Ibiza, British-born beauty Kennedy took to Instagram to tell her followers that she had ‘absolutely nothing’ to do.

The next day, the heavily pregnant model lamented the rain in the UK.

 

Daddy-to-be! On April 27th, James took to Instagram to share his baby news with fans

On April 27, James shared a photograph of Kennedy’s baby scan with a Leicester City football shirt brandishing the word: ‘daddy.’

He wrote alongside: ‘Wonderful news to share with you all…. me & @kennedyalexa are having a little baby boy. Can’t wait to meet you son. Extremely excited to become a father!! Bring on the sleepless nights.’

It’s not clear how long the couple have been together, but they began posting photographs of each other on social media at the end of 2020.
