Ms Ivkovic had given birth to Walker’s child only months before the incident, which was allegedly sparked by a fight over a video game.

The court previously heard Ivkovic planned to retract the initial statement she provided to police following the alleged incident.

Walker could see his $600,000-a-year contract with the Manly Sea Eagles ripped up if he is found guilty of assaulting his fiancee.
