‘We’re super happy’: Former Bali prison inmate Michelle Leslie hints at engagement to Silverchair rocker Daniel Johns as she discusses ‘happy news’ and flashes a diamond ring on her wedding finger
Former Bali jailbird Michelle Leslie has hinted she is engaged to Silverchair rocker Daniel Johns.
In an interview with Stellar magazine on Sunday, the 37-year-old former model brushed off marriage questions while wearing a diamond ring on her wedding finger.
The model was asked whether she has any ‘happy news’ to share and she responded: ‘no’ without elaborating on the shiny new accessory on her left hand.

‘We’re super happy, really happy,’ she said.
‘We just want to keep our private life to ourselves.’
She continued: ‘I think I’ve managed to find the place where I am really happy. It just took me a minute.’

After a period living in Los Angeles, former Silverchair front-man Daniel Johns made a quiet return to Australia in May.
Since returning Down Under, the troubled rocker is now performing as part of music group Dreams alongside former Empire Of The Sun singer Luke Steele.
Whereas Daniel may still be very much in the public eye, the same can’t be said for Michelle, who happily discusses her love of privacy and a quiet life.

In her interview with Stellar, the brunette opened up about her business, Michelle Leslie Design, which she has now been successfully running for ten years.
Michelle admitted that most of her days are now spent between building sites and looking at renovation plans; a lifestyle she ‘loves’ deeply.
