Former Big Brother star Jess Hardy reveals why she had sex on national TV with co-star Nathan ‘Marty’ Martin
Big Brother season two star Jess Hardy made headlines after she and her on-screen flame Nathan ‘Marty’ Martin had sex on the reality TV show, back in 2002.
And on Wednesday, she revealed the reason why they sealed the deal.
She explained to Triple M’s Moonman In The Morning that she felt that it was ‘the right thing at the time’.

‘I’m not an exhibitionist, but you do kind of forget and you like the intimacy, you feel like you’ve got an ally, you get a little cosy and before too long it’s the dancing doona all over again,’ she said.
Before adding: ‘It’s just a comfort thing. Dad said to me when I got out, “Couldn’t you wait?” but when the intense chemistry is there and you’re unable to leave, it’s undeniable.
‘It feels like it’s the right thing at the time, you don’t remember the cameras are there,’ she said.

Fans will remember that Jess made it to fourth place on the show, while Marty made it to second place after losing to Peter Corbett.
Although they missed out on the cash prize, the couple tied the knot on their own spin-off special Marty & Jess: An Outback Wedding in 2004.
Unfortunately, the two called it quits and divorced in 2006.

Marty has since remarried a woman named Lexi, they share three sons – Sam, Billy and Joel – and run a family farm in Toodyay, Western Australia.
Meanwhile, Jess has gone on the study law, become a radio host, and give love another go on reality show Dating in the Dark.
She told Triple M that she is happy for her ex, she said: ‘He’s got a happy ending with another lovely lady, they’ve got a family and he’s all loved up. He’s back on the farm.’
