The partner of former Australian Border Force boss Roman Quaedvlieg has avoided jail time after pleading guilty to breaking two laws in a corruption investigation.
Sarah Jane Chisholm Rogers, 24, in February pleaded guilty to disclosing to Mr Quaedvlieg she’d been summoned to appear at a secret federal integrity inquiry and then misleading that inquiry.
Sydney magistrate Jennifer Atkinson on Monday sentenced Rogers to seven months of imprisonment for each offence, to be served concurrently via an intensive corrections order which includes 100 hours of community service.
