Former NRL player and father-of-three Braith Anasta is encouraging dads to celebrate Father’s Day Eve on Saturday with Fireball shots.
The FOX sports presenter claims fathers deserve the opportunity to kick back and celebrate among like-minded parents, because ‘sometimes dads don’t get as much credit as the mums’.
Braith, 36, told Daily Mail Australia on Wednesday: ‘Being a father – it’s the best job in the world, but it’s not the easiest.’

‘My greatest achievement in life is my family – Rachel and the kids; Gigi, Addi and Aleeia,’ the ex-athlete proudly stated.
Braith shares four-year-old daughter Aleeia with ex-wife and Neighbours’ star Jodi Gordon, while he and partner Rachel, who has son Addison, seven, from a previous relationship, welcomed eight-month-old Gigi in January.
Describing the campaign, Braith said: ‘We’re encouraging to have a celebration of fatherhood. We’re human beings and we deserve for what we do – a lot of dads out there work their butts off to look after their kids 24/7 – so we’re kicking back and having a couple of drinks and celebrating.’
‘I think sometimes dads don’t get as much credit as the mums, and in some situations that might be fine, but in others I think dads are so hands-on and play a big part in their kids lives that they deserve to celebrate as well,’ he added.

Braith said he was a ‘very hands-on dad’ to children Aleeia, Addi and Gigi: ‘I spend a lot of time with the kids. I wake up every morning with little Gigi and take Addi and Aleeia to school. They keep me busy, along with Rachel, 24/7.’
‘Gigi doesn’t sleep much at all. Poor Rachel, she’s been pretty much up all night since she’s been born, so I take the morning shift,’ he said of his father duties.
The doting dad happily wakes up everyday at 5am to feed and change the new bub, before taking the older children to school.

The couple confirmed their romance on Christmas day in 2016, and moved in together at Braith’s Eastern Suburbs home in Sydney in early 2017.
Braith parted ways with ex-wife Jodi in 2015, with the pair happily co-parenting their daughter Aleeia.
As part of the Father’s Day eve campaign, Fireball has teamed up with American style burger joint Down N Out Burgers (Liverpool Street and North Ryde) to offer the DAD BOD BURGER with $5 Fireball shots with proof of dadhood (via a phone image) on Saturday, September 1.
