This is the despicable moment a teenage bully rains down punches, slaps, backhands and kicks on a helpless young girl on a bus.
As her gang of friends laugh wickedly, the ringleader stands over the seated victim and relentlessly lands blows into her head.
The poor girl does not fight back and instead raises a hand to her face to shield herself from the violent onslaught.
West Midlands Police have launched an urgent investigation into the disturbing footage after it began circulating on social media.

The clip has already been viewed tens of thousands of times and attracted widespread condemnation.
It shows a group of girls at the back of a double-decker bus – one of which is sat quietly on her own by the window.
Standing over her menacingly is a teenager in dark tracksuits, while another is perched on the headrest of one of the nearby seats.
Someone is obviously holding a camera filming the sickening episode at the back of the bus – believed to be one of the bully’s cronies.
Suddenly, the tracksuit-clad teen lashes out and strikes the seated victim straight across the cheek.
The victim belatedly raises a hand in her defence but remains silent and does not return fire.

Egged on by her friends who say ‘she just looked you up and down’, the bully continues to blitz the poor girl with backhands to the face.

It also appears the bully’s accomplice snatched the girl’s phone, as the video ends with the victim trying to take it back, but it is quickly moved from within her reach.
West Midlands Police tweeted this morning: ‘We’re aware of a video circulating online that shows a young girl being attacked on a bus, possibly in the West Midlands.
‘Officers are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to get in touch quoting log number 814 of 28/01/20.’
