Four masked robbers storm Sydney family home with a gun

  • A family in Sydney’s south-west have been terrorised by four armed masked men
  • The masked men broke into the Belmore home around 10pm on Tuesday night 
  • They tied up the family, a man, woman and two teenage girls, before fleeing
  • Police were told one man appeared to be carrying a gun, another a metal pole

A family in Sydney’s south-west have been terrorised by four armed masked men on Tuesday night.

Police attended the house on Oxford Street, Belmore following an aggravated break-in around 10pm.

Officers were told one of the men was armed with what appeared to be a firearm, while a second had a metal pole.

The family were able to untie themselves and call police once the masked men had left.

The men threatened and tied up the four occupants of the home, a man and a woman and two teenage girls. 

The thieves then stole property before fleeing the house. 

Officers from Campsie Local Area Command established a crime scene and are investigating the incident.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact Campsie Police or Crime Stoppers.
