Four people have been stabbed at a music festival in East London tonight as the capital’s knife epidemic continues.
Two men aged 22 and 26 had to be airlifted to hospital while another two males were treated at the scene for blade wounds.
Police rushed to Hainault Country Forest Park where thousands of revellers were attending the Garage Nation event after reports of multiple stabbings.
Witness Mel Dee, who saw the incident unfold, tweeted about her horror. She said: ‘Just saw someone get stabbed right in front of me at garage nation. I’ve never seen anything like it. Why do people do this?
‘It was honestly the scariest thing I’ve ever witnessed. He got cut so deep I could see like the layers of his skin it was so bad.’
All four of the male victims were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
