Four Queensland children abducted by man with ‘Joker’ tattoos may be at ‘significant risk’

Desperate search continues for four children who were ABDUCTED from their home and vanished – with Queensland police holding grave fears for their safety

  • Children, aged eight, seven, four and three were taken from Queensland house 
  • Joshua Carter was seen taking the children away from address north of Mackay 
  • The man has multiple face and boy tattoos including one that is Joker themed

There are grave fears for the safety of four children after they were last seen getting into a car with a man with face tattoos as a desperate search to find them enters its second day. 

Joshua Carter, 28, was seen taking them from an address at The Leap, north of Mackay around 11.30am in a white 2005 Nissan Patrol 4WD. 

Police say the children know the man. 

Queensland Police fear the children, aged eight, seven, four and three, may be at ‘significant risk’ and issued an amber alert last night.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, solid build, approximately 175cm tall with a shaven head and full bushy beard with multiple face and body tattoos, including the facial tattoos

The children aged 8, 7, 4 and 3, are all described as being Caucasian, with police revealing they may be at significant risk

The Nissan was last seen heading toward the Bruce Highway, Mackay. 

His appearance was described as ‘solid’ by cops, who said he is around 175cm tall with a shaven head and full bushy beard with multiple face and body tattoos.

One of the man’s face tattoos read ‘Why so serious?’, a nod to Batman villain Joker’s catchphrase from the 2008 movie the Dark Knight.
