A four-year-old boy from Texas tragically died from head injuries after a treehouse collapsed and fell on him on Christmas Eve.
Kade Contreras, of Cleveland, was taken off life support Wednesday after suffering the fatal accident.
His mother Courtney Contreras revealed the heartbreaking news in an emotional post on Facebook.

She began by saying ‘I will never have the right words to tell you all this but there is such a huge following that I feel like I need to.’
‘Our sweet baby boy went home to be with Jesus today at 4:18 pm. I’m trying really hard to not question the whys because I will never know that. All that I know for sure is that we were blessed beyond measure to be Kade Dylan’s parents,’ she continued in the heart-wrenching speech.
‘My days will never be the same without him and his little voice and big smile. I can’t say thank you enough for everyone and how much you lifted my family up. I’ll ask one more time to lift us up in peace and understanding.’

‘This is the the most gut wrenching feeling and it’s going to be hard for a long time.. Our baby is extraordinary just like i have always said. He brought so many people closer together and closer Jesus. He has never made us so proud,’ she concluded.
The freak incident meant Kade suffered major head trauma and had to be put on life support at a Houston medical center.
Courtney and her husband Roy Contreras, had to make the incredibly difficult decision to turn the machine off after he showed no signs of brain activity, the Houston Chronicle reported.
Cleveland ISD policeman Rex Evans, who has known the family for years, said it was an unbelievable tragedy.

‘It’s so difficult to watch and to be a part of – to see beautiful people literally on their knees begging for anything. It’s very tough,’ Evans told KHOU.
‘As a parent, it’s the worst nightmare you could possibly imagine or as a grandparent. I mean, that’s your baby,’ he added.
Evans said Kade died Wednesday at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston.
Kade was the youngest of four brothers. Evans says the boy had really been ‘looking forward to Christmas. This is about as bad as it gets and the family is asking the community to please keep praying for him.’
