Fox News was forced to apologize after a guest host compared Hillary Clinton to a blistering sexually transmitted disease while speaking live on air Thanksgiving Day.

Turning Point USA Director of Hispanic Engagement, Anna Paulina, appeared on the panel alongside political analyst Doug Schoen Thursday, when the two were discussing the Clinton email scandal with host Rick Leventhal and the comments were made.

Leventhal said during the segment: ‘I’m just amazed, that with everything going on in the world, we still have Hillary Clinton in the headlines.’

Paulina replied: ‘She won’t go away… she’s like herpes,’ before she was abruptly taken off the air.

Leventhal appeared stunned by the remark, and replied: OK, that’s news that we’re breaking here… not appropriate.’

He then informed viewers that the segment would be wrapped up earlier than anticipated due to the unexpected language.

‘We are going to wrap this segment a little bit early because of the language that was used in the segment, and we apologize to our viewers for that,’ he said.

Fox News host Arthel Neville also condemned Paulina’s comments.

She said: ‘We want to reiterate that we do not condone the language that Anna Paulina just displayed here, and we apologize to Secretary Clinton for that.’

Neville added: ‘Fox News does not condone her sentiment.’

Paulina has not formally issued an apology.

She wrote on her Twitter page this week ahead of the holiday: ‘A very happy early Thanksgiving Day to all the Democratic Socialists in the United States.

‘May your table be filled with food brought to you by a capitalist government. If we were socialists, you would be eating government issued spam.’
