Fred has been given a bit of extra time off this summer so he can celebrate his wedding in Brazil.

He shared a few snaps from his marriage to Monique Salum, and then hopped on the plane to Australia to join up with the Manchester United squad for their pre-season tour Down Under.

Manchester United got their pre-season off to a good start with a 2-0 win over Perth Glory, with an impressive performance from new boy Daniel James.

‘He’s been doing some private fitness work to help him get stronger, keeping to the schedule he was handed.’
