Fresh footage has emerged of Cristiano Ronaldo appearing to smash a mobile phone out of the hand of a fan after Manchester United’s 1-0 defeat to Everton.
A mum has also claimed that the Portuguese superstar ‘assaulted’ and ‘bruised’ her 14-year-old son by swiping his mobile phone out of his hand at full-time.
Sarah Kelly, from Upton, took her son Jake Harding to Goodison Park on Saturday to watch his beloved Blues for the first time.
He saw Everton claim a crucial 1-0 victory thanks to a first-half goal from Anthony Gordon.
Jake and Sarah sat in the Park End, meaning that they were near the away side as the players left the pitch to return to the dressing room.
A video surfaced of a hobbling Ronaldo apparently lowering his right hand towards the ground in frustration.
He is seen making contact with what appears to be a fan’s phone.
The item instantly dropped to the floor and fans jeered the striker as a result of the incident.

Sarah has claimed Ronaldo assaulted her son and told the Liverpool Echo: ‘At full-time the Man United players started walking off.
‘We were in the Park End so we were right by the tunnel where they came walking past – my son was there videoing them all.
‘He filmed all the United players walking through. And then he lowered his phone because Ronaldo had pulled down his sock and his leg was bleeding.
‘He lowered his phone to see what it was – he didn’t even speak. Ronaldo then just walked past, with a terrible, terrible temper and smashed the phone out of my son’s hand and carried on walking.
‘I was crying, I was shook up, Jacob was in complete shock – he’s autistic and he’s got dyspraxia as well, so he didn’t really digest what was happening until he’s come home now.
‘He’s really upset about it and it’s completely put him off going to the game again. This is the first football game he’s been to and this has happened.
‘We had an absolutely brilliant day up until those final few seconds when they came off the pitch. It’s completely ruined the day and put a bad taste in our mouth.
‘He’s an idol. Yes, he’s not from Everton and you like who you like, but Ronaldo’s a big player. My son’s always been like ‘Ronaldo’s going to be there’ – he’s an icon.
‘I’d understand if Jake was waving it in his face but he wasn’t near his face, it was down by the floor checking his injury.’
She added: ‘He’s an autistic boy and he’s been assaulted by a football player, that’s how I see it as a mum.
Merseyside Police have already confirmed they are investigating an incident after Cristiano Ronaldo was accused of smashing an Everton supporter’s phone.
Ronaldo has since apologised for his angry ‘outburst’ in the Goodison Park tunnel and invited the affected supporter to come and watch a game at Old Trafford.
Cristiano Ronaldo has taken to social media to apologise for his ‘outburst’ after he appeared to knock an Everton fan’s phone out of their hand after Manchester United’s 1-0 defeat
The Portuguese superstar was furious after the Red Devils’ 1-0 defeat by Frank Lampard’s side on Saturday afternoon and United are looking into the incident.
In a message on Twitter, Merseyside Police wrote: ‘@MerseyPolice can confirm that they’re carrying out an investigating following an incident at the #EVEMAN match at Goodison involving a player as they were walking off the pitch and will be speaking to all parties involved.’
In his social media post after the game, Ronaldo wrote: ‘It’s never easy to deal with emotions in difficult moments such as the one we are facing.
‘Nevertheless, we always have to be respectful, patient and set the example for all the youngsters who love the beautiful game.
‘I would like to apologize for my outburst and, if possible, I would like to invite this supporter to watch a game at Old Trafford as a sign of fair-play and sportsmanship.’
United supporters were quick to defend Ronaldo. Some said it was the 37-year-old’s shin pad as he’s seen holding just one.
However, his second shin pad appears to be in his sock.
